Membership Suspension

A great benefit of your membership at Chilli Pilates is the ability to temporarily suspend while you are unable to attend classes. You can suspend your membership for a minimum of 4 weeks, up to a maximum of 11 weeks.

Please read the below important information guide so you can understand how the suspension works. If you have any additional questions, feel free to contact us by email and we will help guide you.

Important information about your suspension:

  • Suspensions are designed for members who are unable to attend classes for reasons such as holidays, surgery and recovery from illness. During a suspension, your online account will be suspended and classes cannot be attended. No membership fees are charged and no benefits/class credits will be accrued
  • During a period of membership suspension all class reservations will be cancelled. Members will have the option to retain a regular class reservation and their class reservation will resume once the full period of membership suspension has elapsed.
  • Membership will automatically resume once the suspension has elapsed.

FAQ

Can I suspend my membership and continue coming to classes?

Unfortunately, you cannot. A membership suspension is designed for our members that are not attending classes during a suspension period.

Should I suspend because of an injury?

In some cases it can be extremely beneficial to continue doing classes under the teacher’s guidance. Our team of instructors, PT’s and therapist are highly-educated and well-experienced to diagnose, treat and prevent injuries. So why not consult your teacher on the best course of action.

I am going on Holiday, can I suspend my Membership?

Yes, if you are not planning on attending classes for at least the minimum suspension term of 4 weeks, you can apply for a suspension. Alternatively, you can simply use the extra class credits to book extra classes before or after your holiday.

Should I suspend during and after pregnancy?

We strongly recommend you speak to your teacher about attending classes during pregnancy. At Chilli Pilates we advise that you do not attend classes during your first trimester (first 12 weeks). If you wish to exercise in the second and third trimester, please speak to your teacher who will be able to advise and guide you. Due to the unknown nature of the suspension term during and after pregnancy, please speak to us when applying and we can adjust accordingly.
