About Sayan

Hello I’m Sayan Jethwa. I pride myself to ensure the environment of your sessions is welcoming, comfortable and safe. Your sessions are specifically tailored and individualised to you. So you can get a better understanding of my background here is the story that led me to this profession. From a young age I’ve always had a passion for sport in general but excelled in sports such as football, cricket, tennis, basketball, badminton, volleyball, table tennis. Unfortunately with sport, injuries are inevitable and that was the case with me. I was plagued with injuries causing lengthy absences from sport which I was devastated about and it’s impact on my everyday life. After going through the mental and physical hardship of the injury itself and rehabilitation I decided that I wanted to be a therapist who can help others recover from an injury both physically and psychologically and return to the sport they love or just enjoying everyday life and being injury/pain free.

I graduated from University College Birmingham with a BSc (Hons) in Sports Therapy. After completing the three gruelling years I can now say that I specialise in Musculoskeletal injuries, Rehabilitation, Injury prevention, Strength & Conditioning and Sports/Deep Tissue & Swedish Massage. After graduating in 2017 I have worked in various osteopathy and chiropractic clinics which has broadened my perspective of injuries and treatments exponentially. Having 2 years of experience in the industry I’ve treated a wide range of people from non sports background people to elite athletes. I’ve learned how physiotherapists, osteopaths, chiropractors, sports therapists and massage therapists combining treatments can really benefit patients. I’m hungry to continue developing my knowledge and skills in medical dry needling and spinal manipulations this will give me more options to provide the best care possible for you.

Working at Chilli Pilates has provided the perfect opportunity to combine reformer pilates to my arsenal of treatment methods which will in turn give more effective results for rehabilitation or any goals you may have.
