We are extremely pleased to report that 95% of attendees have said that our COVID safety measures are “Just right” and they feel comfortable & safe returning to classes with us in studio.
Felt very safe, everything was exceptionally clean.
Very impressed, I felt safe and comfortable
Hard to see how you could have done more.
I am very happy with all the measures. I feel safe and all has been thought through carefully to keep members safe.
Listen to what some of our members have said about being back…
How we will be keeping you safe in Studio:
At Chilli Pilates our first priority will always be the safety of our Members and the Chilli Team, we have therefore made some changes to the way our in-studio classes are delivered and introduce some new safety measures.
Last updated on: 16th July 2021
Face masks recommended but not required: Visitors are no longer required to wear a face mask when entering our studios. We do strongly encourage everyone who would prefer to wear a face mask to continue to do so and we ask all visitors to continue to respect the preferences of all other visitors.
Instructors will wear either a Visor or Face Mask: Every instructor will be wearing a protective visor or face mask while teaching. We tested both options in a trial class and we found that neither option had a detrimental affect on the class experience.
Cleaning & Hygiene
NEW wipeable hand straps: The handles on every Reformer Bed have been replaced with a wipeable alternative.
Anti-bacterial fogging: Every studio will be ‘fogged’ regularly with an anti-bacterial product (STERiZAR) which destroys 99% of all germs and bacteria, and creates a residual barrier on surfaces that continues to work for at least 30 days after each application.
Cleaning between classes: All classes will be reduced to 50mins to allow time to clean and wipe down all surfaces and equipment between classes.
Windows & doors will be opened regularly to circulate air: In order to circulate clean air through our studios, we will be opening windows and doors regularly. This may make some studios slightly colder than usual, so we advise you to bring some extra layers to wear while warming-up for your Pilates class.
Reduced class capacity and more space between Reformer Beds: All classes capacities have been reduced and all Reformer Beds will be spaced further apart to maintain safe social distancing between attendees.
Optional hands-on corrections: Prior to COVID-19 we provided hands-on corrections in all of our classes to enhance the experience and maximise the benefit for every attendee. The Govt’s Step 4 Easing of restrictions allows us to reintroduce this into our classes. We will respect your wishes regarding hands-on corrections, so should you prefer not to be touched by your instructor please feel free to inform them.
Changing spaces & toilets: Although changing spaces will be closed our toilets will be available. Please arrive at the studio ready to attend class.
Waiting in studio – Please adhere social distancing:
You can wait for your class to start inside the building, but you must adhere to reasonable social distancing at all times. RECOMMENDED: Please avoid arriving at the studio more than 5 mins prior to your class start time.
50min classes to minimise traffic: The shortened class time will minimise the cross-over of members between each class.
Separate entrance & exit to studio: If possible, you will be guided to leave the studio via an alternative exit points.
